How To Use Timing in Astrology
So I have this asteroid book I used called The Orders Of Light by Martha Lang Wescott I’ve had for about a year now. This was when I used this timing technique on the movie Uncut Gems (article here: https://www.taisoleil.com/articles/2021/2/18/12ogulm314jdkodwkikeg28xfve7hh?rq=Uncut%20gems)
not realizing this was technically a Horary technique along with a timing technique I was intending to use it for. The three Moirai are the ones of Fate and Destiny. Whatever choice you make in life has a consequence whether you believe in Fate or not.
I also talk about Planetary Date work here: https://www.taisoleil.com/articles/2021/7/22/r3mm53gyc46myo83ckk4damlhvz7qq
Let’s start with the asteroids:
Klotho: Is the beginning phases of an event and how it can turn out in the beginning.
Lachesis: Is what happens when the decision is made.
Hybris (430) - Fated to happen. This is the overall energy based on the other 3 asteroids of time. Regardless of how you time, it can work in this way based on Sign and Aspect of Hybris, so, learn how to use fate to your own benefit when considering the other 3 asteroids. Your fate is based on what has been predisposed to you. Harsh aspects (squares, oppositions) can challenge this, soft aspects support your fate (trine, sextile).
Atropos: Is the outcome of the said event.
I found some old archives of more about this asteroid I typed up:
***Updated 4/4/2020 Here’s the text version:
Here’s something for electional astrologers:
Klotho (97): How you’ll feel before you start something.
Lachesis (120): How you’ll feel after making said decision, how you can alter decision in your favor
Atropos (273): What is set in stone if you do or don’t make changes*
*(cont)
*Atropos is something that can end well or bad depending on what you do during the Lachesis phase. It’s like if you were to put off doing something and deciding to do it at the last minute. You’re going to have a harder time than if you did it earlier. That type of thing.
You can either learn lessons the hard way or the easy way. These asteroids aren’t really about predisposition unless we are talking about circumstances, but when then you can still make changes as you see fit.
You can also use this to identify habits and patterns in your natal chart when it comes to starting new habits and maintaining them. Harsh aspects to Klotho show you are a procrastinator whereas harsh aspects to Lachesis show that you are bad at maintaining a habit.
Harsh aspects to Atropos can show where you develop poor habits while trying to take on a new habit, creating a vice or a sort of overcompensation. A lack of balance. Or, you are someone who doesn’t listen to advice on what you can do to improve, and ruin an opportunity.
Okay so for transits it would be similar to see how it would aspect you. Just apply to how you can start your day/how hard it will/won’t be to maintain a habit/what’s going on when it does come to time, really anything karmic can apply here too.
These asteroids move not super fast but enough to see changes in how time and cycles come about. All three have hour glasses as their shapes and are kinda, Saturnian. Atropos is reaping what you sow, and that can’t get any more Saturn than that. Saturn rules over harvests.
When we combine all of this together, we get a timing technique that will help you understand what can happen when you do certain things. Horary is a technique in which you pull up a birth chart based on the time you ask a question. It’s a divination technique like Tarot in which I use at times to determine what is going to happen event wise. Now that I’m thinking about it I should start using this in combination with tarot like I do with everything else, but this is a brief source to help you understand the possibilities of this asteroid. If you can show me any movies with this stamps I would love to do more of these techniques 💚
