Every Day And Hour Has A Planet Attached To It In Astrology ✨
Planetary days and hours play a key role in life. If you ever want to know the best thing to do for the day outside of the difficulty of a natal chart, planetary days are simplistic ways of keeping up with the flow of life. I talked about this in French for twitter awhile back, but let’s expand!
Here are the Planetary Days:
Sunday: Sun
In Japanese, 日 in 日本語 means Day, and as we know, the Sun is the Day! Dimanche sounds like a derivative of Dieu, which means God in French. This is why Sunday is the day of worship.
Monday: Moon
Monday is Japanese is 月曜日. The character for 月 is Moon! In French, Lundi is a derivative of Lune, which is Moon. In Spanish, Lunes is a derivative of Luna, meaning Moon as well!
Tuesday: Mars
Tuesday in Japanese is 火曜日. The character for 火 is Fire, which correlates to the Mars ruled planet of Aries. In French, Mardi comes from Martis Diem which means “The Day of Mars”. Mardi Gras means “Fat Tuesday”. Mardi Gras deals with masquerade balls and things of that sort, and Aries rules over the head. Drinking happens during this time as well and Liquor is firey in nature. In Spanish, Martes has a derivative of Mars.
Wednesday: Mercury
In Japanese 水曜日 is Wednesday. Now, I know what you’re thinking, how does 水, meaning water, have anything to do with Wednesday? WELL! It means Mercury as well but Mercury the element in alchemy is related to Mercury the planet. Quicksilver is the only Metal that can be liquified. Silver as a name is a derivative of Cancer/Water energy. Gemini is also a Mutable/Movable sign. Mercury also rules over Virgo which is the sister sign of Pisces, another water sign! Mercredi is named after Mercury in French, as well as Miércoles in Spanish.
Thursday: Jupiter
Thursday is Thorsday in Norse Mythology. Thor is the equivalent to Jupiter in Mythology! In Japanese 木曜日 is Thursday with 木 meaning Jupiter. It also means Wood/Tree. Trees represent Thor’s energy as symbolism!
Friday: Venus
Friday is the day of Freyja, goddess of Love in Norse Mythology. This shares similarities to the Venus ruled Aphrodite in Greek mythology! In Japanese the word is 金曜日, with 金 representing money and y’all know Venus is known by that bread. This kanji also represents Gold, and Freyja also represents Gold!
Saturday: Saturn
In Japanese, the 土 in 土曜日 means Earth/Soil. Saturn represents a sickle commonly used for harvesting plants that come from Soil. Baron Samedi is the Deity of the Dead, and this also can show how much a sickle is like a sythe, as Saturn also rules over time. 8 is also Saturn ruled. 8 is infinity and the two passageways between Life and Death when the 8 is turned to the side. Along with this, 8 looks like an hour glass, and Saturn rules over time as well!
Day Representations
The reason why you dislike Monday so much is because I feel that is not the best time to start your day. Having Monday be a Moon day is a very emotional time that can even effect your work ethic. It’s a slow to start day because your emotions have to slowly become acclimated in order to deal with others. Mondays are start days because Cancer energy loves to connect with others intimately due to comfort. Pair that with work and your emotions will get riled up due to lack of comfort and familiarity.
Wednesday is considered a hump day bc it’s between a week, and Mercury is a Neutral Planet
Friday’s are pretty exciting day because you know the weekend is coming. It’s relaxing bc of the Venusian influence on this day. That’s all I can think of and etc.
